Graduate Programs

The Center works to build the pipeline of scholars and practitioners, in ethnic studies and beyond, with expertise in the study of race, indigeneity, and transnational migration.

Through dedicated programming, research fellowships, working groups, and funding for student-led talks, conferences, and symposia, the Center brings together doctoral and professional students from a range of disciplines who share an interest in our areas of focus.

Our graduate-focused programming includes the RITM Dissertation Writing Group, the RITM Travel Award and Research Fellowships, faculty-led Working Groups, funding for conferences & symposia, and the RITM Student Advisory Board.
