Janelle Wong (University of Maryland) to keynote the RITM 2016 Ethnic Studies Conference

On November 3-4, 2016, the Yale Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration will host a conference on Ethnic Studies that is co-sponsored by the Asian American Cultural Center at Yale (AACC), La Casa Cultural Julia de Burgos, the Native American Cultural Center (NACC), the Afro-American Cultural Center, the Department of African American Studies, and the Department of American Studies will host an Ethnic Studies conference in honor of Don Nakanishi ‘71, a Yale alumnus and pioneering academic. Janelle Wong, Professor of American Studies and Director of the Asian American Studies Program at the University of Maryland will deliver the keynote address on Thursday, November 3, at 7:30 pm at the Yale Law School.
