RITM is pleased to cosponsor the opening celebration of Jes Fan: Unbounded at the Yale University Art Gallery on Thursday, February 26.
At 5:30 pm, Jes Fan will be in conversation with Rachel C. Lee (Professor of Gender Studies, English, and the Institute of Society & Genetics at UCLA) and Margaret Ewing, Horace W. Goldsmith Assistant Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art at the Gallery. The conversation will be followed by a reception and exhibition viewing until 8 pm.
Jes Fan: Unbounded highlights the artist’s innovative sculptural practice, exploring the limits of binary categorization, regenerative strategies of nonhuman species, and the potential for interspecies collaboration.
This event is free and open to the public.
