Lorelle Denise Semley (Holy Cross) To Join RITM As ACLS Burkhardt Fellow in 2020-21

The American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) announced on March 1, the 2018 Frederick Burkhardt Residential Fellows.

Among the fellowship receipients is Lorelle Denise Semley, Associate Professor of History, College of the Holy Cross, who will join the Yale Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration for academic year 2020-2021. While on campus, Professor Semley will also hold a position as visiting fellow in the Department of History.

The Burkhardt Fellowship program, which supports recently tenured faculty as they pursue ambitious scholarship at a consequential stage of their careers, is made possible by a grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
