DevinDevin Zyaire Williams is a third-year PhD student in African American Studies and Sociology at Yale University. In his first year at Yale, Devin was a Graduate Fellow in the Center of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration (RITM), and is currently a teaching fellow as part of the Mellon Consortium on "Teaching Race." His scholarly interests include, but are not limited to: critical university studies, black studies, power/knowledge, disciplinarity, and black radical thought. Currently, Devin is developing a research project that grapples with questions of field formation, (anti)disciplinary knowledge production, and abolition as it pertains to the project of black studies.
