Race, Social Justice, and Democracy Plenary

The two-day program included a series of panels, roundtables, and showcases that build upon the important interventions each center has cultivated over the four year collaboration.

History of Texas Studies Symposium

The symposium hosted important conversations about ongoing efforts related to research, teaching, and work with the public; current challenges and opportunities within and beyond colleges and universities; and what steps might be taken in the coming months and years to address our shared concerns.

CRC Pedagogy Fellows

With financial support from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the RITM Center partnered with colleagues at Brown University and Stanford University to organize a Teaching Race Graduate Fellowship that gathered doctoral students across institutions interested in improving their pedagogical practices. Fellows from all three campuses participated in faculty-led workshops that explored theory, anti-racist pedagogies, and concrete strategies for difficult classroom conversations about race and other topics.
