Katherine Guerrero

Katherine Guerrero was born in Peru and moved to the United States when she was 15 years old. Through tracing her journey across the U.S-Mexican Border, Katherine hopes to conduct interdisciplinary research that centers the performance of border crossing as a method to interrogate structures that sustain the creation and re-creation of border spaces, and the complicated ways immigrants conceptualize and challenge space, land, and relations through their migration journeys.

She holds a B. A in History and Latin American Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.Div. from Duke University.
