Lucia Olubunmi R. Momoh (she/they) is a third year PhD student at Yale in a combined PhD program with History of Art and Black Studies and in the Ethnicity, Race, and Migration graduate certification program. She is a recipient of the Dean's Emerging Scholar Fellowship and a Graduate Fellowship with Yale Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration. Lucia’s research centers African and African Diasporic perspectives in and on art history and investigates how art has been mobilized to de/construct, re/imagine, and dis/entangle ideological systems of race and nation.
