The RITM Center partnered with colleagues at Brown University, University of Chicago, and Stanford University to organize a Teaching Race Graduate Fellowship that gathers doctoral students across institutions interested in improving their pedagogical practices. Fellows from all four campuses participate in faculty-led workshops that explored theory, anti-racist pedagogies, and concrete strategies for difficult classroom conversations about race and other topics. Each year, we convene new cohorts of graduate fellows who attend the series, participate in workshops and complete a final project, either a series of lesson plans or a syllabus based on their research interests.
