CRC Pedagogy Workshop Series

The RITM Center partnered with colleagues at Brown University, University of Chicago, and Stanford University to organize a Teaching Race Graduate Fellowship that gathers doctoral students across institutions interested in improving their pedagogical practices. Fellows from all four campuses participate in faculty-led workshops that explored theory, anti-racist pedagogies, and concrete strategies for difficult classroom conversations about race and other topics. Each year, we convene new cohorts of graduate fellows who attend the series, participate in workshops and complete a final project, either a series of lesson plans or a syllabus based on their research interests.

CRC Mellon Arts & Practitioner Fellowship

As part of the collaboration, RITM welcomed cohorts of two to three Mellon Arts & Practitioner Fellows each year who developed new work while sharing their expertise and learning from the university community. We hosted showcase events for each cohort and held cross campus convenings to brings artists and practitioners from sister CRC campuses.
