Aden Gonzales
I am a history major with an intensive certificate in Education Studies. I am interested in the histories of social movements and revolutions, particularly amongst students and teachers across North and Latin America in the 20th century. I am interested in what compels people to political action and how movements are organized and sustained. I hope to become a high school history and social studies teacher after graduating, in my hometown of Philadelphia. Between my sophomore and junior years, I took a gap-year and worked as a substitute teacher at Metropolitan High School in New Haven, teaching writing, computer science, and biology across all grade levels.
